Introduction of e-invoicing &
Central and electronic incoming and outgoing invoices

Dear Sir or Madam,
We would like to use this opportunity to inform you about a change in our invoicing process. Up until now, you have received our invoices by traditional post or as a PDF attachment by email.
As of November 1, 2024, we will only create our invoices in e-invoice format and only send them to you digitally.
In the future, you will conveniently receive our e-invoicing at the email address you have provided us with.
If you prefer a different email address, please send us a short message to accounting@lucassen.de.
The change was necessary because the legislature has declared e-invoicing mandatory in the B2B environment from January 1, 2025. We optimized our invoice dispatch on November 1, 2024 and have since then created our e-invoices in the standard ZUGFeRD invoice format. Our e-invoices therefore meet the legal requirements of the EU Directive EU/2014/55 and the EN 16931 standard.
Electronic invoice receipt and dispatch
In addition, we would like to explore new avenues with you in the course of digitalization and use the possibilities of the electronic invoice process for receipt and dispatch.
We have switched to a central invoice receipt and dispatch.
In addition to receipt by traditional post, since November 1, 2024 we have been able to receive incoming invoices permanently electronically in PDF/A-3 format.
For an efficient and smooth process, we therefore ask all suppliers and service providers to use the electronic invoice process under the following mandatory formalities:
- To send e-invoices by email, please only use the following email address: invoice@lucassen.de
(Please delete any other email addresses for sending invoices) - This email mailbox is exclusively intended for receiving or sending e-invoices and credit notes (credit notes are treated as invoices in the following).
- When sending electronically, additional invoices should not be sent by traditional post.
- The email only serves as a “means of transport” for the attached e-invoice and is therefore not archived.
- Emails that do not meet the above conditions will not be processed.
Please understand that proper and quick processing and payment of your invoices can only take place if the above formalities have been strictly observed.
